Letters from Viewers
The video is beautifully constructed—you are also a great teacher. I finished my first book late last week and am thrilled with the end product. Every step of the process was a new learning curve made all the more manageable with the help of your video. Seeing you perform the process gave me not only a visual idea of what was going on, but I was also able to pick up a rhythm...an almost meditation-like process. I cannot thank you enough for providing me with this gift of learning—the realization of a life long dream.
I finished my book for my daughter's wedding and it turned out great! This is actually just a temporary version for the guests to sign then I will take it apart and include the guest signatures in a final book that has all the wedding pictures printed in it. I'm a retired bookbinder. Yes, 37 years as a bookbinder and I made everything but a hand sewn book. Everything now is machine done. This was fun to do! Your video was very complete and easy to follow.
I absolutely love your DVD!! It's exactly what I was looking for. I'm half way through the dvd and I can't wait to start binding. I'd love to get started on making a handbound journal. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your help, pointing me in the right direction for supplies. I was able to complete my first book project with my father, and it made for a delightful and memorable activity for the two of us during my holiday visit. (I'm also attaching the photo of the finished product that you requested: I'm very happy with it!) Thank you, again, for your helpful video, as I am thrilled to have discovered a hobby I truly enjoy and find rewarding. I foresee many weekends in 2020 (and beyond) sitting quietly at my desk folding, threading, cutting, and gluing.
You DVD literally WOWED me! I have had no experience in book making, but...I have been exposed to a lot of book making folks. Now I am excited about making a journal for each of my three young Grand Daughters...Your presentation on your DVD is absolutely perfect in my mind.
I personally reviewed your bookbinding program and found it to be professional, easy to follow, informative and visually lovely – all the things I would want in an educational DVD. Your video presence is very comfortable and relaxed -- you should do this professionally!
Best of luck!
I recently purchased your video workshop and it is fabulous. You simplify everything and make it very understandable for the novice...thanks for a wonderful video.
Thanks so much, your DVD really is fantastic. I've been bookbinding for about 11 years but with a very different technique. I've been wanting to expand my repertoire and your technique is perfect for that!
I purchased your DVD for a teaching tool at the high school where I teach. It is very good. Our Art Club has been making books for the last two years, however, we have been making these books in a different way. I want to introduce this new approach to the students this year...
I picked up your video on book binding at the local library. What a serendipity!! I have been binding used books for several years but have never launched out into the qualitative approach that your video teaches...Thanks again for your inspiring video. I would like to make several for some members of my family for Christmas. I must say that your dvd, web site and information made available as a bonus item are fantastic. I have been scooping up about everything I can find on book binding over the past few years, but yours really crowns the list.
Thanks for all the work you have gone to make this available.
Hello: I am enjoying the video I purchased very much! It is very concise and fun to watch and makes me think I can actually make my own books...
